Products to heal bikini line.? FOR MISS SA

I am African-American and suffer from server bikini line irration after shaving. I am often left with swollen bumps from ingrown hairs that leave permenant scaring. Are there any products that are safe and will help with old and new skin damage? Is astringent safe down there.
